We understand that therapy can change lives, but for many, the cost feels like a barrier. Maybe you’ve lost a job, faced unexpected medical bills, or are balancing student life and family expenses. The Nunc Coepi Scholarship was created so that finances never stand between you and the care you need.
What The Nunc Coepi DBT Scholarship Makes Possible
“Nunc Coepi,” Latin for “Now I Begin,” represents the belief that every moment offers a chance to start anew.
This scholarship covers 50% of the standard DBT group rate at Cincinnati Center for DBT, helping clients focus on healing rather than financial strain.
With support from the FightLikeTania Foundation, this program expands access to compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals ready to build a life worth living.
Eligibility: Applicants must demonstrate financial hardship.
Client Contribution: Participants pay 50% of the group rate per DBT group session and commit to consistent attendance. See our current fees here.
Duration: Awards generally cover one 24-week DBT group cycle.
Review: Eligibility may be re-evaluated if circumstances change.

Get Started with the Nunc Coepi DBT Scholarship in Cincinnati
Complete the brief application to share some background on your financial situation.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
2. Attend your initial appointment
Once approved, you’ll schedule an intake session with one of our DBT therapists.
During this appointment, you’ll discuss your goals, treatment history, and determine the best treatment approach that will bring you closer to meeting your goals and building a life you experience as worth living.
After intake, you’ll join a DBT Skills Group - typically a 24-week program.
You'll meet with your individual therapist weekly or biweekly. Each week, you’ll complete homework to practice the skills learned in group to help you make progress faster.
